Richard Hartung is a consultant with over 20 years of experience in financial services, primarily in Asia.
He is also a freelance writer for Today, the EFMA Journal, gtnews and other publications, and he has worked in retail banking in California, the diplomatic corps and at Citibank in Japan. After moving to Singapore in 1992, he worked for MasterCard, Keppel TatLee Bank and OCBC Bank. Currently at Transcarta, Richard works with financial institutions on cards and payments strategy as well as process enhancement.
Richard has a BA from Pomona College and an MBA from Stanford University. Active in community organisations, he serves on the board of the Metropolitan YMCA and of the Jane Goodall Institute Singapore as well as volunteers with Food from the Heart.
